Am I there yet?! I woke up at 4:30 and have this incredible idea that if I stay awake the entire flight, then maybe, hopefully I will adjust to the time change. 4:30 west coast=7:30 east coast.  I like the sounds of it.  Fingers are crossed.

I won a free gogoinflight wifi pass for the flight (hopefully I’ll get the iPad too, but let’s not get greedy here).   I am surrounded by children, who are all well behaved besides the grom sitting behind me using my seat as a kicking bag.  I needed a massage anyways.  I just found out that my credit card has been frozen… I mean really, why would a 29 yr. old woman living in Hood River be traveling to New York City using her C.C. to hold hotel reservations and buy tickets to Cirque du Soleil?  I guess I’d rather have them be suspicious of Fraud than have to deal with a maxed out card when arrive.

Ok, so the REAL reason I am going to the Big Apple is to attend not 1 but 2 classes @ Bumble and bumble University!  Thanks to 5th Element for selecting me as our Bumble Network Educator, giving me this incredible opportunity to travel to New York for an experience (there WILL be more) of a lifetime!  My first class (which I happened to ‘win,’ -again thanks to 5th Element!) begins mañana is a Design Class, focusing on razor cuts #straightrazorsrscary.  It is a two day class where I will be learning radness.  My second class (4days) is the Network Educator Class where I will be learning the Bumble way… and how to teach it when I return to 5th Element Salon.  I am super stoked to have this opportunity and plan to share it with all of you (whomever you might be).  So keep your eyes peeled for more posts straight from NYC!
